Francisco Simian is an economist working in Innealta Capital’s Investment Team. He has a deep quantitative research background and is in charge of providing research and strategic support to the Investment Committee for investment decisions, especially those regarding international equity markets. Furthermore, he is responsible for spearheading the investment team’s communication efforts, which includes writing monthly market commentaries with a special focus on the economic and political events shaping the opportunities we see in them.
Francisco holds an M.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science, both from The University of Chicago. In addition, he is currently completing his doctoral dissertation. Prior to attending The University of Chicago, Francisco was awarded a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration, and an M.A. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He has previously worked as an economics researcher and consultant, and as a university economics lecturer.
